The Builders Coalition was formed in the wake of the devastating January 2025 Palisades Fire, when more than 5,000 homes were lost in our community. Our mission is clear: to come together as builders, advocates, and neighbors to ensure the Pacific Palisades is rebuilt stronger, safer, and with the highest integrity.
We are a collective of the region’s leading home builders, each with decades of experience in construction, design, and project management. By uniting under a shared code of values, we hold ourselves accountable not only to our clients but also to one another. We believe that rebuilding isn’t just about restoring structures—it’s about restoring trust, stability, and community pride.
The Coalition was created with three primary goals:
- To advocate for change – We bring forward practical recommendations to city leaders to make rebuilding faster, simpler, and less expensive for Palisadians.
- To solve shared challenges – From scheduling material deliveries to reducing neighborhood traffic, we coordinate logistics so every builder, subcontractor, and homeowner benefits.
- To set higher standards – Through our four pillars of Accountability, Honesty, Transparency, and Consistency, we ensure families who entrust us with their homes receive fairness, clarity, and respect at every stage of the process.
Together, we advocate for homeowners, coordinate with city officials, and work with suppliers to improve efficiency and lower costs. By collaborating rather than competing, we reduce delays, share knowledge, and create a stronger rebuilding ecosystem for everyone.
