The Builders Coalition was formed by and for home builders rebuilding the Pacific Palisades community after the devastating January 2025 fire. Our mission is to set a higher standard of ethics, craftsmanship, and community responsibility. Every member of the Alliance commits to these values as both guiding principles and requirements for participation.
These values represent what we stand for, how we serve homeowners, and how we hold each other accountable as we rebuild our community together.
The Four Core Pillars
Accountability
We stand ready to serve our customers, neighbors, and community, especially when accidents, challenges, or unexpected hurdles arise. Accountability means:
- Taking ownership of our work and our mistakes.
- Acting quickly to resolve issues and make things right.
- Putting the homeowner’s trust above convenience.
Honesty
We always tell the truth and remain forthcoming with customers, trade partners, and inspectors—even when excuses would be easier. Honesty means:
- Being direct about delays, costs, or challenges.
- Giving fair and accurate assessments instead of overpromising.
- Building long-term trust through integrity.
Transparency
We share information, feedback, and insights as they arise. Construction is full of surprises; transparency means:
- Explaining the “why” behind recommendations or changes.
- Keeping customers updated about schedules, costs, and materials.
- Sharing lessons learned with fellow Alliance members so we all improve together.
Consistency
We deliver excellence on every job, every time. Consistency means:
- Maintaining uniform standards of craftsmanship and professionalism.
- Providing clear and consistent fee structures—no hidden surprises.
- Ensuring every homeowner receives the same care and commitment, regardless of budget.
